Born and raised in Canberra, Kit was always obsessed with animals. They began their animal studies in 2016, working as a nutritional advisor for Hills Science Diet until they started nursing in general practice at the end of 2017.
After experiencing an emergency in their GP clinic and wishing they could do more, Kit decided to delve into emergency medicine and started at CVES on Christmas of 2019. They immediately found their love and passion for emergency medicine, and for the CVES team.
Over the years Kit has developed skills in emergency nutrition, anaesthesiology, and endoscopy. After many years of work they attained their Certificate IV of Vet Nursing in June 2024.
In their spare time Kit preforms in metal band as a vocalist and keyboard player. They enjoy collecting all sorts of things, from vintage games, to vinyls, to taxidermy specimens, and have recently found a passion for film photography.
Kit currently owns one very precious (and spoilt) old lady cat called Pushkin, who is often seen being pushed around the neighbourhood in her heated cat pram.
