Jane

Jane started with us in December 2020 after moving from New Zealand with her young family. Although she had no prior experience in the industry, Jane’s love of animals and ability to learn quickly allowed her to expand her horizons and she is now in the early stages of commencing her studies to become a qualified Vet Nurse.
Jane has two cats, one of which she rescued from a local non-profit Cat Rescue Group in NZ and the second she adopted exactly 1 month after commencing work with CVES from a fellow colleague who was fostering a litter. She has recently become a first time dog-mum and is learning the joys and chaos of life with a blue healer pup.
Jane’s warmth and empathy when dealing with clients and patients helps her to tackle the emotionally challenging cases. Jane finds that watching a beloved pet leaving with their owner after a miraculous recovery to be the most uplifting and rewarding part of her job. Those wagging tails and loving purrs say more than words ever could!
